Qualification for Board of Directors

1. Must be a Filipino citizen.
2. Must be of legal age (18 years and above).
3. Must not be declared delinquent as of three (3) months prior to the date of the election.
4. Has not been convicted by final judgment of an offense involving moral turpitude.

RequirementS

1. Duly filled out and accepted Certificate of Candidacy.
2. Photocopy of Occupancy Permit / Notice of Acceptance.
3. Police Clearance or Barangay Clearance.
4. Photocopy of one (1) government ID.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

All members in good standing will receive a Notice of Election which indicates being qualified to vote for the election on May 18, 2025

Member in good standing may participate in person or by proxy (with proxy form to be submitted to the Elecom at least ____ days before the date of the election)

Mere receipt of the Notice of Election shall constitute the existence of a quorum in the election, regardless of whether the member participates in the election, either in person or by proxy.

Homeowners not in the masterlist on or before April 12, 2025 will NOT be allowed to vote and run for candidacy

Get copies of Membership Info Form from HOA Officers or Membership Committee

Submit filled out Membership Info. Form to the Membership Committee or HOA Secretary

Please bring one (1) Valid ID on the election day for Identity verification purposes

➡️ Lahat ng HOMEOWNERS na nasa MASTERLIST at rehistrado bilang miyembro ng HOA bago o hindi lalampas ng APRIL 12, 2025.

SAAN MAKIKITA ANG MASTERLIST?

➡️ Nasa ELECTION COMMITTEE (ELECOM) na po ito.


➡️ Maari n’yong kontakin o personal na lapitan ang ELECOM para makapag-verify.

PAANO MAPASAMA SA MASTERLIST?

☝️ Automatic na kasali ang lahat ng Principal Buyers na naka-turnover na ang unit.


☝️ Kung ikaw ay Asawa (Spouse) ng Principal Buyer at gusto mong tumakbo bilang BOD, kailangan magpasa ng Membership Form sa HOA Secretary hindi lalampas ng April 12, 2025.


☝️ Kung ikaw ay Anak, Magulang, o RENTER, kailangan ng Special Power of Attorney (SPA) mula sa may-ari at Membership Form.

Election Committee of VMS-HOA Inc.

The Election Committee (EleCom) of VMS-HOA Inc. is a special, independent body mandated to oversee and facilitate the first official election of the Homeowners’ Association, in accordance with existing laws, the association’s by-laws, and fair election practices. The committee is responsible for ensuring a transparent, orderly, and credible electoral process that will enable qualified homeowners to elect their Board of Directors.


  • Develop and implement election rules and guidelines in line with the association’s by-laws and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) regulations.
  • Organize and supervise the entire election process, including filing of candidacy, campaign period, voting, and canvassing of results.
  • Establish the eligibility criteria for both voters and candidates.
  • Validate and publish the final list of eligible voters and qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate with the HOA's interim leadership, legal counsel, and other relevant committees to ensure legitimacy and impartiality.
  • Address election-related complaints or disputes in a fair and timely manner.
  • Certify and proclaim the duly elected Board of Directors.
